I wasn’t satisfied with the conventional solutions for bike frame protection. Therefore, I decided to develop and patent a product , which compliments any hitch rack system or bike stand product line. My invention the “SwagRag”, provides tough, durable, high quality blanket of protection between bike frame and rack cradle pads, without compromising safety of rack use. My design will fit multiple sizes of top tube frames, ideal for riders with more than one bike. The intent to maintain grass roots Canadian integrity and new ways to provide, premium products, that are user friendly and sold at a fair price. I have developed a product that recycles material that was originally being sent to land fill sites. Throughout development I tested many different materials and fastening mechanisms. The end result is a quality Canadian designed and manufactured product that when used with bike racks, provides an extra layer of protection between the customers bike top tube and rack cradle pads, bike stand clamps and “Kryptonite” bicycle locks.
