Argon 18
Established in Montreal, Quebec since its inception in 1989, Argon18 has built itself a strong reputation in the cycling world. All Argon 18 bicycles are designed by former Olympian Gervais Rioux and stand out for their unique designs that combine proven traditional knowledge and cutting-edge technological developments. Available in 35 countries, these bikes embody the optimal balance between comfort, light weight and rigidity. Argon 18's original and innovative design work was rewarded in 2008 with a Eurobike Design Award for its E-114 model.
Argon 18 bikes have been ridden to four triathlon World Champion titles. The company's roster of sponsored athletes now includes respected names such as Luke Bell, Ain-Alar Juhanson, Samatha McGlone, Emma Moffat, Bree Wee, Mikel Elguezabal and Bart Aernouts. Argon18 is also the official bike of the pro Team Spidertech presented by Planet Energy (UCI Continental), managed by Steve Bauer and featuring riders Martin Gilbert, Keven Lacombe, Andrew Randell and François Parisien in its roster.
If there is any secret at all to Argon 18’s success, it lies with our exclusive designs, whereby we first define which ride caracteristics we want to build into each frameset model and then deliberately engineer those properties into the finished product. Every Argon model exhibits a very specific road feel, distinct from the other models in the line.
There are many kinds of riders and just as many riding styles. Our diversified design concepts as well as our wide range of models means cyclists of every stripe can find an Argon that meets their needs.
Only leading, progressive companies can make such a claim and deliver on the promise, but that’s just what Argon 18 is: a leader in the world of cycling.
