Bike store staff needed (sales and mechanics)

     

Oxygen Bike Company opens February 1 and is now hiring Fitting Specialists and Sales staff.
Oxygen is a new bicycle retail store in south Etobicoke which combines an indoor cycling studio with a traditional “local bike shop”. We cater to road, mountain, fitness and family oriented cyclists.

Your role is simple: Help customers choose the right bike. Ask the right questions. Show the right products and do it with a smile. You must be a bike expert without being a bike snob to fit into our culture. We are the friendliest bike shop in the neighborhood and you are the front line, so your personality and service oriented attitude is what will make you successful at Oxygen.

Oxygen is located along Lake Shore Blvd West in south Etobicoke (access to GO and street car) within seconds.

Successful candidates MUST possess the following:
1. Be active in the cycling community with in-depth knowledge of bike components. We live and breathe two wheels…you must as well. Hint: You need to keep up your end of the conversation when we start talking about a 105 group on a 54cm carbon monocoque. Yep…bike talk!
2. Be handy with a wrench to be able to install parts and accessories like horns, pedals and fenders.
3. Be a bit of a techno-geek. Know your way around a blog, a content management system, a point of sale system and a little HTML doesn’t hurt (that’s the gravy).
4. Superior communication skills from face to face sales to email.
